It’s the 100th Day

It's the 100th day.
So shout hip-hip hooray!
We'll count and eat and play,
On the 100th day!

See all we've collected.
100's on display.
Join in the fun and say,
Hooray for the 100th Day!

Hip, Hip, Hooray! We Celebrated the One-Hundred Way!

The 100th day of school is cause for celebration! Here are a few of the ways we make that day an unforgettable learning experience:
*We made 100 days headbands.
*We made and ate 100 trail mix snacks.
*We counted to 100.
*We read 100 words.
*We danced with 100 moves. (GO MS. BASS!)
*We had show and tell with 100 items.
*We wrote 100 words.
Thanks Mrs. Benson for letting us borrow your sign!

We would like to welcome Mrs. Sara Shaw. She is a junior at Dalton State College and is majoring in Education. She will be helping out in our room on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are so excited to have her!

Have You Ever Been In A Snowball Fight?

Even though it doesn’t snow much here in Georgia, we love talking about what we would do in the snow and how we love snowmen! We also enjoy activities that have to do with the snow. We had a snowball fight in the room. Sight words were written on a piece of paper and wadded up into a ball resembling a snowball. After a few minutes of having a snowball fight, the students stopped to open the snowballs and read the words inside. We had fun practicing a blizzard of new sight words.
