Colorful Kids

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We have had a great first few weeks of school. For the next ten days we will look at our wonderful world of colors. We will work on one color for each day.

Please allow your child to wear the color of the day and bring an item from home that is that color.

The schedule for colors is:

Monday, August 24th – Red

Tuesday, August 25h – Blue

Wednesday, August 26th- Yellow

Thursday, August 27h – Green

Friday, August 28h – Orange

Monday, August 31st-Purple

Tuesday, September 1st – Brown

Wednesday, September 2nd – Black

Thursday, September 3rd – White

Friday, September 4th – Rainbow

Monday, September 7th-Labor Day …..NO SCHOOL!

Ahoy, Mateys ! Welcome aboard and meet our new Kindergarten family!
The children have sailed into a great first week in Kindergarten. Ms. Phyllis and I are really enjoying getting to know all of them. It has been lovely to see how well they have settled into their new class.

Kindergarten Story Time

The Kissing Hand~A perfect first day story. This is a story about a little raccoon ready to start school. He talks about his fears to his mother, fears that most children have before beginning school. His mother comes up with a wonderful solution to help her little raccoon remember that she loves him and is thinking about him, even when she isn't with him. A wonderful and heart-warming story to share with little ones.

First Day of Kindergarten Snack! YUM!!

The first day of school is a special day and we always provide our class with a special treat to let them know how much we care.
